Current Transformer

Current Transformer

The company has the capability to design and manufacture current transformers (CTs) used to step down high electrical currents to lower, safer levels for connection to measuring devices such as ammeters, multimeters, power meters, or protection relays.

Medium Current Transformer

  • CT Metering Rated currents ranging from 10/5A to 600/5A, with operating voltages of 22 kV, 24 kV, and 33 kV.
  • CT Protection Rated currents ranging from 10/5A to 600/5A, with operating voltages of 22 kV, 24 kV, and 33 kV.

Low Voltage Current Transformer

  • Rated currents of 150/5A, 250/5A, and 400/5A with an operating voltage of 720 V, for distribution transformers with iOT specification (PEA).
  • Rated currents of 300/1A, 600/1A, 1000/1A, and 2000/1A with an operating voltage of 720 V, for distribution transformers with iOT specification (PEA).
  • Rated currents of 150/5A, 250/5A, and 400/5A with an operating voltage of 720 V, for metering applications (PEA).

Key Features and Benefits

Reduces high current levels in electrical systems to lower values suitable for measurement with standard instruments such as ammeters, which have limited measuring ranges.
Electrically isolates high-voltage circuits from measuring equipment, ensuring safe operation and reducing the risk of damage to instruments or harm to users.
High measurement accuracy, enabling precise measurement of various electrical parameters such as current magnitude, frequency, phase, and power factor.
Enhances electrical system protection by detecting abnormal currents, such as during short circuits. The transformer sends signals to protection devices to initiate circuit disconnection, preventing potential system damage from spreading.
Enables accurate power and energy measurement, which is essential for monitoring electrical energy in systems such as power plants, substations, and industrial facilities.
Compatible with various testing instruments, including power analyzers, energy monitoring devices, and power quality analyzers, to evaluate system performance.
Improves overall electrical system safety by supporting reliable and secure system operation.
